More information about Marconi Union tickets

Marconi Union play their first headline London date since 2018's sold out St Pancras show. They will be returning with a new AV show including unreleased tracks (which may or may not appear on a new album.......) alongside re-mixed selections from Signals and other works.

Marconi Union continue to side step traditional genres forging their own path. In their music can be found hints of Dub, Jazz, Ambience, Minimal Techno and Electronica which are blended together with melodies to give a unique atmospheric vibe. Their new material has been described as 'Electronic Psychedelic Shoegaze'.

They frequently draw comparisons to artists such as Kraftwerk, Brian Eno, Biosphere and Boards of Canada, while at the same time moulding these influences into their own distinct sound.

To date Marconi Union have released 11 critically acclaimed albums and worked with many artists including Jah Wobble, Max Richter, Biosphere, Steve Jansen (Japan) and Marina Ambramovich Institute. The group have previously played at a variety of festivals and events, notably Big Chill festival and Punkt! Festival in Norway, the latter at the invitation of Brian Eno where they we asked to play live re-mixes of the previous performer’s works.

“Minimal, introspective, ethereal electronica – gorgeous”  The Guardian.

“Exquisite, subtle soundscapes, an essential purchase for ambient addicts”  DJ Mag

Femmepop currently showcases female electronic music on her RTE radio show. She has just released 2 new singles entitled 'Alice's World' and 'Live to Sell', with an album planned in the year.

"You could call it dream pop that sounds like a collaboration between Cocteau Twins, School Of Seven Bells, and Luke Vibert..."

Dan Hegarty, RTE Radio Ireland.

''O'Sullivan in my view is one of the best electro-pop acts in Ireland ....Underground finishes with a contemplative, experimental and moving track in the shape of 'Games & Toys' (Ode to a Punk Boy) which is nicely executed, Eno meets Oldfield, but only because Femmepop has invited them.''
Remys Music & Film Blog, Dublin.
