Multi-platinum-selling rapper Tinie Tempah obviously couldn't get enough of the Tees Valley the first time around, because he's set to make a return.
In another huge coup for the area, the chart-topping singer-songwriter is this time to appear at Hartlepool Marina on Sunday, July 30.
It comes three years after Tinie last performed in the area, when he took the the TFM Soundworks stage in Middlesbrough.
July's Jackson's Landing gig has been organised by Phresh Creative Management, led by local entrepreneur Junior Masandi, and Joe Franks of The Open Jar bar at the Marina, in partnership with Capital Radio and Hartlepool Council.
In recent years Tinie - real name Patrick Okogwu - has become one of the most successful British rappers of his generation. He has clocked up as many UK number ones as Michael Jackson, U2, Kylie, Robbie Williams and Elton John - in fact, he can lay claim to being the artist with the most number ones this decade.
The inimitable star shot to prominence in 2010 when his debut single Pass Out hit number one. A raft of further hits followed, along with awards including two BRITs, Best Newcomer at the MOBOs and an Ivor Novello for Best Contemporary Song.
His second and third albums were just as successful, featuring further number one singles and collaborations including Dizzee Rascal, Emeli Sande and Laura Mvula.
As well as focusing on his own music, he runs his own record and fashion labels.
Tinie made a sensational return last summer with the release of Jess Glynne collaboration Not Letting Go, which became his sixth UK number one, swiftly followed by his seventh, KDAs Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) together with Katy B.
He's set to release his third album, Youth, next month, which is already packed with hits including Girls Like, Mamacita and Not Letting Go.
Tinie will be supported on stage in Hartlepool by a yet-to-be-announced special guest, as well as by local talents, Hartlepool sisters Liv 'n' G, Billingham artist Ty Lewis and Teesside’s songstress Abi Alton.
Co-organiser Junior said: "We're all very excited to do another show with Tinie. The last time he played Teesside was an exceptional and packed-out show, so when the opportunity presented itself again, with a bigger stage, we jumped at the chance to invite him back to the area."
