Marta Del Grandi: Italian-born Marta Del Grandi is an eclectic singer songwriter gathering influences from near and far to create a unique genre-splicing style, a jazz vocalist originally, now traveling her own unique and unchartered path. Signed to Fire Records, she released her debut album for the label 'Until We Fossilize' in November 2021. In the not-too-distant past, Marta studied Jazz Vocals at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. She visited China, then Nepal where she taught at the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, before returning to Italy where she unpacked the influences and inspirations she'd soaked up. Morricone-esque in structure - with a hint of David Lynch, her music is playful and evocative; she is a rare talent, 'Until We Fossilize' the first flourish of her eclectic art. "Bucolic yet often emotionally complex, her songwriting - patching electronic synths against ambient elements with a touch of modern classical - seems to tap into areas beyond words." CLASH Immaterial Possession: Conjuring a mysterious brew of folk, psychedelia, world music, and progressive rock, Immaterial Possession are a group from Athens, Georgia whose music takes listeners into a world all their own. Their sound is exotic without being forbidding, created within the framework of pop music while embracing a mindset that falls outside its boundaries, and generating a sense of joy even when it slips into a shadowy mood. The group introduced themselves with their self-titled debut album in 2020, and 2023’s Mercy of the Crane Folk fleshed out their ideas with greater skill and assurance.
