Meatopia returns to Tobacco Dock

Meatopia is back! After a hugely successful sell-out at London's Tobacco Dock last year, Meatopia returns bigger and better than before.

Now taking place over two days, Meatopia brings you Old Skool Saturday; classic BBQ and Southern smoke with electric blues, bluegrass and acoustic jams, and New Skool Sunday; contemporary cue and smokey spectaculars with electronica and DJ sets.

Chefs featuring this year include Andre de Luca from Brazil, Home Team BBQ from South Carolina, David Pynt from Singapore, Dario Cecchini from Italy as well as chef's from restaurants like Duck & Waffle, Almost Famous, Meatlover, Shake Shack, Smokestack, Flatiron and LOADS more.

Meatopia is a festival of meat, drink, fire and music, invented 10 years ago in the USA by acclaimed food writer and journalist Josh Ozersky. The concept is a simple one; amazing and original meat-based dishes using high quality sustainably farmed meat, cooked over wood or charcoal by top chefs and served in taster portions to allow you to try as many as possible.

Meatopia UK was brought to London in 2013 by chef Richard Turner and was an immediate sell-out success. The event was staged at the magnificent Tobacco Dock in East London and featured 20 chefs from all over the world alongside butchers, farmers, meat aficionados, wine makers and brewers – soundscaped by an eclectic line up  of live music, cabaret and street theatre.

Check out our meat-themed playlist and the highlights from last years glorious event. Seetickets made it down and we all got full-blown meat sweats. We loved it.
