The Luna Cinema launches its 2016 season with first
ever outdoor screenings at The Tower Of London!
The Luna Cinema has released its 2016 summer programme, running from May to October at some of the country’s most beloved venues, from Ascot Racecourse to Blenheim Palace.
With eight years of experience in open air cinema, the company has expanded its reach to 150 screenings taking place across the country, from Swansea to Edinburgh to Leeds.
For the very first time, The Tower of London has granted permission for outdoor cinema screenings, exclusively to The Luna Cinema – audiences will sit in the moat to catch films including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Gladiator and Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo+ Juliet.
This season will also see the first outdoor screenings of Star Wars as previously thefranchise was restricted to indoor venues.
