Rated 5 out of 5 by Louflo from Outdoor theatre The play was an outdoor event in Liverpool held behind Liverpool town hall. Loved the small set and cast who retold the Sherlock story. Venue was a different and enjoyable experience. I would recommend to friends to book if the company visit the city again. Seating was provided which was great as we thought we had to take our own. Possibly could find a quieter outside venue in Liverpool, as the venue is so close to bars and restaurants, people enjoying the nightlife were a little interruptive towards the end of the play. But you can ignore these interruptions and it didn't ruin the overall experience of the play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RoseanneB from Fantastic Performance is All Weathers! Myself and a friend went to the performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Moorland Garden Hotel on Dartmoor. We had such a fantastic time, even though halfway through the weather turned on us! The cast and the performance were brilliant. It had all of the audience in stitches throughout and there was something for everyone. Young children loved the slapstick comedy and adults understood the more subtle humour. A truly wonderful event for all to enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt P from Fantastic! 5* Midsummer Nights Dream What a fabulous evening! Picnic on the grass, bubbly, outdoor Shakespeare play. What could be more British? We didn't even notice the rain. We all loved the play, the actors and actresses were excellent and really pulled us in to the story. Our 6 year old daughter loved every minute and has now organised her friends to perform 'Midnight Summers Dream' with her school friends. We would recommend this to other families.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PammyD from A wonderful day for all ages! Myself and my family visited Hoghton Tower to see this fantastic play. It was set in the magnificent gardens... the perfect backdrop to such a wonderful performance. The play from stat to end was spectacular. The actors were engaging and responsive to the audience and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was a great afternoon well spent and we will most certainly be returning for the next play! Thank-you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beachwalker from A great summer evening out I have been to the outdoor theatre at Warkworth Castle twice now and intend to make it an annual event. I love the informality of having a picnic and drinks while sitting in deck chairs. The company always put on a fantastic show. Remember to dress warmly and bring blankets as even on a summer evening it can get cold.

Rated 2 out of 5 by catg274 from Sadly the British weather ruined it. After a beautiful day the clouds rolled in & the heavens opened. By the time the production started we were soaked to the skin but decided that as we couldn't get anymore wet we would sit it out and watch it. However due to everyone having umbrellas up we couldn't see the stage. I wouldn't have minded that so much but we also couldn't hear anything because the actors voices were not projected out to the audience as the stage didn't have a roof on it. A simple sheet hung across the top of the flats would have made a huge difference, we left after 20 minutes very disappointed. I know the company can't do any thing about the weather but this is basic amateur dramatics stuff to enable the audience to hear .

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allison from Hound of the Baskervilles I treated my friend to an early birthday present and thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance. The heavy downpour was annoying but the whole cast were true professionals and just carried on we will be purchasing tickets for another performance well done to all.
