Rated 5 out of 5 by neilw84 from Joyous enthusiasm + boundless energy = an exhilarating performance Louisa performed for 1 hour and 15 minutes with a set of no fewer than 19 songs, supported by a band on keyboard, percussion and keyboard/guitar/double bass. This was an outstanding performance. Her energy was amazing: she was rarely still, even when at the mike, and frequently danced across and around the stage with exuberant vitality. She is such a sexy mover! And it was clear she delighted in performing: she smiled a great deal, both during songs as she reacted with members of the audience and between songs. Her sense of humour was evident when she was singing Holding Onto Heaven and dropped the mike as she snatched it from the stand and just laughed! She was clearly moved by performing for such a large audience and by receiving such enthusiastic acclaim and involvement. After performing Money she commented, “It’s insane to hear so many of you singing along.” And after her last song she said, “Thanks. You’ve been an amazing audience.” A very impressive part of the performance was, before singing Glorious towards the end of the set, she said, “I want to thank everyone who’s been there from the start, who bought my first album.” Her statement of sincere gratitude to her loyal and supportive fans who are helping her to become a very successful singer, song writer and performer was very moving. My only small reservation about the performance would be that her voice and the instruments were at times a little over-amplified so that her beautiful voice sounded strained. But this was a live performance, of course, and she was singing with much greater intensity than on CD. The highlights for me were when, towards the middle of the set, she announced she would ‘take the excitement down’ and sang If You Leave Me Now beautifully and On My Way which she sang sitting accompanied by keyboard and double bass with no drums. Clarity, her first encore, was also a quieter song which allowed her beautiful voice to come naturally to the fore. But I would add that there was some restlessness in the audience during these quieter songs and I’m sure most of the audience enjoyed the excitement of the dancey pop numbers: they certainly responded when she said, “Manchester. It’s time to get involved again!” The floor was bouncing! Her energy was infectious.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RachRa from Smashed it Went to this gig with a girl friend after we both mutually discovered Foxes a while back. The venue was a perfect spot for us to meet in town. Hadn't been there before but Heaven was a great little set up. Big enough, but small enough to feel like you were getting a more intimate style gig than a 'sell out'. I liked the interior of brick and arches. Foxes were brilliant. I love the music anyway but her vocals were incredible. Great tunes to dance to and sing along to. They're new enough to seem to genuinely appreciate the crowd they are preforming for and the lead singer seemed genuinely happy to be up on that stage performing to us all. Powerful voice. I would love to see more future gigs at Heaven, and have a chance to see Foxes again in the future. Had a great night! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Foxes is queen of pop! Body Talk is one of the best songs of the past year. We went mainly just to dance to that but always forget how great the rest of her back catalogue is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RyanMCFC from Great intimate venue This is a very cosey venue which in my opinion are the best. We were right at the back but could still see the performance perfectly.
