What people are saying about Funeral For A Friend
Rated 5 out of 5 by Supercharlie from Epic concert - Last chance ever!! Went with my brother, we are both huge fans and have seen funeral many times. The venue was small and intimate and we were right at the front getting deafened :) The warm up acts were not bad and made real effort to get everyone in the mood. Turns out funeral are breaking up and I was unable to get tickets for their last ever show so am so glad that Yeovil was awesome, that's how they should be remembered! \oo/

Rated 5 out of 5 by Themajestichen from The best gig I have been or will ever go to. Fantastic intimate venue that was all charity run, was at the very front, basically on the stage, got signed vinyls and a picture. My partner and I first saw this band in our home town years and years ago so it was so great to see them again playing the old tracks we love and just weeks before they announced the break up! Cracking time and met a load of lovely people :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Trixx from Last Chance To Dance The only reason i gave 4 stars is because of the hall used. The band were fab, as they had been at the Hours tour we saw 2 years ago at this Cardiff Uni venue. My only disappointment was the room used. The room for the Hours tour was a perfect hall and had this gig been in there I would have given 5 stars and some. The hall used had pillars and stairs so if you didn't want to be in the mosh pit, as we didn't, it was hard to find somewhere to stand where you had a clear view- this wasn't an issue with the other room. The light shows and supporting acts, Zoax and Shai Hallu (sp?) were very good. They were 2 bands I hadn't heard of before but were very good and I would see again. So sad FFAF is no more as they really are great live musicians.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Thecityforyou from Excellent Event, Mildly confusing organisation. The gig itself was absolutely amazing, the bands put on a great show. It was a perfect send off to a band I've loved since I was 14. However there was a small issue with distribution of the tickets, and several confusing emails which lead to a lot of people having to exchange tickets at the venue, which in turn meant it took slightly longer than expected to get inside. Other than this minor kerfuffle, the event was great and the second night without the exchanging of tickets there was no queue time at all. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by sarahjayne1987 from What a way to end 16 years as a band and my teenage years!!!! I went to the gig to say goodbye to a band i have loved all my teenage life, and these guys do not disappoint!!!! The atmosphere was electric and the fans have all come together and rock out the final tour in style. The album they performed was Hours, which in my opinion was the rawest album they have made, the songs they played all hit places in my heart and let me reflect on the significants times of my life where they were there for me musically To have the surprise of an old member of the band made it even more special and I was dancing my heart out to every song they performed. Coming home with my muscles aching and bruises developing was a sign of a great gig for me. I am very sad that the band is no more, however they have performed the best gigs in my life and I was so happy to be there to witness part of the final tour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Danii from everything I expected and more! I've loved this band since I was 12, but never got the chance to see them live until earlier this year, 10 years after first hearing them. I bought my tickets on while getting ready for the gig, maybe an hour before it started, and bailed for the venue. I went on my own, as per usual, the way I prefer it, found the venue out of memory of google maps I'd searched for before I'd left and absolutely loved it, the opening bands were great. But the main event, Funeral For A Friend, I managed to shove my way to the front, got involved in the moshpits, sang/screamed along into the mic, had a laugh with the band's jokes and held Matt's hand for some of the songs. They were everything I hoped for, playing both sparkly new songs and the songs that I first heard while playing Burn Out 3 on my dad's Xbox before school. I was too focused on having an amazing time that I didn't get pictures, but I don't need them, I'll never forget. Thanks for a great night guys <3

Rated 3 out of 5 by jmbob from good band not my cup of tea bought tickets for my girlfriend and she loved it. They are a talented group, we both agreed the support bands were awful. the venue was ok not enough space on balcony and then get harassed by security for standing our positioning by the stairs when there is literally no where else to stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matimus from It's only over when we say... Over a decade of watching FFAF shows, and these last few may just have been the best yet - two of their most comprehensively sing-a-long-able albums back to back, with a heap of extra special extras, some beautiful crowd connection and great support acts - way to go out with a bang guys!
