"The most remarkable achievement in theatre not only of this year but also of this decade" Ben Brantley, The New York Times
Following worldwide acclaim and a return season at New York's Public Theatre, this sensational enactment of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby is coming to London for a strictly limited season playing 23 performances only at the Noel Coward Theatre from 8 June - 15 July.
Set in the office of a mysterious business where a worker finds a copy of The Great Gatsby. He starts to read it and doesn't stop. This spellbinding word-for-word dramatization is created and performed by Elevator Repair Service, directed by John Collins and features Scott Shepherd as Nick. GATZ is presented as part of the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT).
Its unique performance schedule starts at 2.30pm and finishes at 10.30pm, including two fifteen minute intervals and a one and a half hour supper break.
"unconditional seduction by a single, ravishing novel" Ben Brantley, New York Times
