Rated 3 out of 5 by neilw84 from Mesmerising penultimate song Haley performed for over an hour supported by her band of two guitarists, herself often on guitar, plus drums, and she sang 18 numbers. The gig was a little lacking in differentiation and subtlety compared with her recordings and, with the rather excessive instrumental amplification, Haley was sometimes forced to shout. She engaged with the audience charmingly and with much humouron several occasions and I liked the joke about her jeans having shrunk because of all the puddles in Manchester! The highlight was the rendering of “Eat for Free” as the first encore item: Haley sang solo accompanying herself on acoustic guitar but had to break off and explain. “I’m wired up and can’t hear myself, all I can hear is all these conversations going on all around me. This is not a rock song.“ There was then a shout for quiet from audience and the song was then listened to in absolute silence, and her wonderful voice was at last to the fore, with all its nuances, delicacy and power: mesmerising!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ThirdUncle from Well crafted indie pop Haley has some killer songs on her new album and they were delivered here with style. The band is tight and she has a great voice. They seem to have a slight eighties sound but it is updated with good use of guitar effects.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TreeHouseMarc from Great Show! Haley was great, only caught the very end of the support, but they seemed to be a good accompanying act. My only gripe was the venue seemed a touch empty, given it being billed as 'sold out' the crowd might have been urged not to sit down and come to stand up close with the band.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Viclow from Interesting venue This was a very relaxed style gig, with a very '6-music-esqe' crowd (expected). The gig was in an extremely beautiful building in Liverpool (Central Library), but in a relatively sterile room. However, overall a great experience, but would have liked a beer!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by GazR from Haley Bonar, Leeds Great show. The crowd rocked. Haley rocked. And she's someone who still covers a Phil Spector number!
