Rated 5 out of 5 by Jazzajon from So much fun The Hot 8 were brilliant. The ultimate party band. However ebven if the Hot 8 had failed to turn up it would have been worth the ticket price for the support band alone. AFro Cluster were amazing. I will be going to see them when ever they play next. The only downer is that Clwb Ifor Bach has installed Altro anti slip flooring which has never been cleaned since. The anti slip and the old sticky residue of beer makes dancing feel like wading through thick sticky mud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Valky from Hot 8 great. Warm up act dire. Disappointing ending. First time in Electric Brixton. Warm up act Ragga Twins did nothing for me and my mate. Singing "dilly dilly dilly doo" 100 times over is pretty tedious. Hot 8 began slowly before their crescendo into their better known hits. Great, friendly vibe but difficult to see the stage from where we were standing as the venue is more for clubbing than performances. The denouement had great potential as the Hot 8 descended from the stage to play in a line to bring some of the New Orleans flavour to us Londoners... But was badly planned and ended embarrassingly as half the members had to walk back on stage and the other half disappeared. The crowd would have loved to have followed them around the standing area. Quality band but the night had so much more potential. Would always be up for seeing them again.
