Rated 4 out of 5 by MrWhipster from Great Stouts!! Have been going every year since 2013, always taking the camping option. The toilets are grim, but for cheap camping, you can't expect glamping. It's a great opportunity to get together with mates for a few days. Busy lives mean that doesn't happen often, so a 3 day excuse to have a drink, catch-up and have a good time is a great reboot. Only grumble I have is that sometimes the entertainment is aimed at older patrons, and the youngsters get bored and start throwing paper airplanes around. This really annoys the security staff. I would love to have a read of the Archery health and safety risk assessment. Who would have thought that archery and beer was such as successful combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by andyd2963 from THE best thing in kent every year! As always the annual Kent Beer Festival is one of the highlights of the year. Get your friends together, get the tent out of the loft, put a paddling pool in the back of a truck and have a brilliant 3 days of fun. Good beer, great music and friendly atmosphere with the smell of the countryside in your nostrils.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chewy from Neigh! Canterbury Ale festival :-) Went with 5 others and 2 tents. Apart from getting soaked through and sleeping in my car I had a great time as did my mates. Will attend again next year for more ale and horsey shenanigans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by paddy662 from Canterbury beer festival. An excellent event. :) I have been to this event a few times before, the facilities are not for the light hearted, people must expect the rough n readiness of it all. The entertainment was brilliant and the food on offer exceptional. In the end we are all there for the beer and cider and there are choices on offer to cover everyones requests. A good night had by all that attended. Thanks for providing a superb event.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RevLedZep from Beer festival plus camping... Have been 4 years in a row camping the three days. The event is what can be expected or lots of good quality beer served by knowledable staff (unlike Maidstone beer festival!) What let's this down is lack of vegetarian food (no chip van?) Saturdays lack of beer (and people?!) The camping toilets are worse than you can believe holes in the floor etc. Not for the faint hearted.
