Rated 5 out of 5 by madhouse319 from Ktty Daisy & Lewis @ Leaf , Liverpool Excellent intimate Kitty Daisy And Lewis show at Leaf - an Tea Room ! Actually it was upstairs in a very nice room. They serve great food downstairs - get there early! The band rattled through a grett set, swapping instruments and vocal duties regularly. The highlight was the finale where Daisy playing stand-up drum, bashing out Going Up Country, with Kitty on shared vocals. Kitty then went out int the audience jamming on mouth organ. The vintage Jamaican trumpet player was introduced as having played on a Beatles record! after all, this was Liverpool! Great venue and great band. Only issue was the timing, we were told they were on at 8...but actually it was 9.15.... and it went on much later than stated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by su from Blasted away (literally) This was not a suitable venue for the group. The sound system was such that the music came out as a sort of aural porridge. It was also far too loud, so that we both had deafness for two days afterwards. Pity, as we have CDs of group and they are much better than that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Medley from Just ridiculously talented I love these guys. Their music is such a culmination of genres and they're all so individually gifted musicians that i can take a selection of friends, with different music tastes and everyone has walked away with a favourite track and had an awesome time. Can't big these guys up enough. They need a bigger venue next time so there's more room for dancing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by EOkenowksi from Great night! Ended up going alone because my friends couldn't make it, was a little awkward for a while but I soon forgot about it - support act Barns Courtney was PHENOMENAL, followed his various projects for a few years and it's safe to say he's looking at a great future. Incredible voice, catchy songs and impressive stage presence, such a great choice to get the crowd going. I'd heard a few of KD&L's songs before the gig, mostly because my dad loves them. If I wasn't a fan before I definitely am now, their energy is contagious and seeing them live makes me appreciate their artistry even more. A brief technical hitch with the bass amp didn't even ruin the mood, every song was fantastic and I'm definitely going be seeing them again. Only complaint of the night has nothing to do with the band - way too much pushing going on in the crowd, ended up wearing half of someone's pint when a couple tried to push to the front.
