Leftfield - Live From Times Square
Times Square, Newcastle
Rated 2 out of 5 by Afroleft from Going to be ignored because it's negative review? See you on Twitter See. My Original review: "Keen to see Leftfield and hear a great album played live, and that was the problem. I couldn't hear most of the music. Sure I could hear the bass and bits of the vocals, but it was like being in a pub. Most of the punters were chatting - over the music, actually loud enough to drown out parts of the songs, not dancing or paying much attention. I'll think twice about going to the Barrowlands for a gig in the future, the acoustics are pretty poor."

Rated 5 out of 5 by dushegg from Leftfield Brought the Noise: Leftism has had 22 years to mature but it's sound never grows old 10/10 One of my first experiences of Leftfield's Leftism live was in a certain tent, in a field in Kinross. The spine tingling, heart shuddering sound and feeling has always lived with me. 22 years on, listening to each Leftism track, back to back in one of my favourite venues (Barrowlands) comes close to the monumental filed flash backs of 1996. Each track just slightly matured with tweaks here and there, though not reaching the bone shuddering heights that tracks such as Storm 3000 once held. A mature crowd, turned out to pay homage to the 'life changing' album, and what a night it was. Appearances from Cheshire Cat, MC Earl Sixteen and Djum Djum added fuel to the fire, so to speak, and helped create one of the most sweatiest gigs I have ever been to. The nostalgia and excitement in the room was like the feeling you get before greeting an old friend. Tarantina's take on 'Original', for me, was however a tad underwhelming. Neil Barnes was once quoted as saying "There's nothing wrong with being massive, as long as it's 'good massive'". High five to that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by greg314159 from Visually and musically stunning Entered the main room to the diaphragm moving sounds of Hodge, we grinned as the bass took us over; brilliant support and we were well in the mood. The room filled up, the light show kicked in and Leftfield started up. Perfect sounds and light show. We danced all evening, as one with the crowd, what a night.
