Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hello hello hello Former policeman Alfie Moore's comedy (heard on Radio 4 etc) often features anecdotes from his days as a Humberside bobby, and his new show 'Getting Away With Murder' continues that tradition. Seen on Sunday 6 November at The Canalhouse, this intimate venue was perfect for his audience dependent conversational delivery. The space was perfect to encourage back-and-forth with the audience and Alfie's capacity to slow the pace right down then deliver the unexpected observational punchline rarely failed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant to see new young talent being given a platform! I went with friends and family, so a good mix of ages, to a really gorgeous room, perfect for the show we saw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice homely event Creditable event with just one act at a time and affordable. Organised very well but I regret paying 10% surcharge on booking, then (more willingly) some more for the charity

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Never done before will be back. I went to this event with my partner we both enjoyed ed gamble but other half decided he wanted to leave after ed no detriment to ed or the following acts. The other half just had his victor meldrew head on "room too small too hot" etc etc hahaha. I will definitely be back but leave him at home next time:0)
