Rated 2 out of 5 by Goldspink from Terrible Venue If you have any breath left after climbing a mountain of stairs to get into the venue itself, you will be sadly disappointed to discover that the sound is absolutely awful. PiL played a blinding 2 hour set which was ruined by bad acoustics. I have seen them several times before, so knew it was not the band or their sound engineer to blame. The experience was also ruined by over keen staff constantly cleaning and clearing rubbish during the performance. The toilets were also down a deep flight of stairs, so heaven help anyone who is disabled or has had a few drinks. Would happily see PiL again but not at this venue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Punkrockcherry from Excellent show!! First off, the moans. In this day and age, E-ticketing is the thing - the E-tickets were cheaper because of no postage, no printing costs. So why did people who purchased the E-tickets have to queue up for ages, whilst punters with traditional paper tickets were waved in? Sort this out! The venue is great, but the bar and the loos are at the back - meaning a constant stream of people going from the front of the venue to the back - no matter where you stood, this happened throughout - extra loos on the sides might help?! Pil were Pil - if you have seen them in recent years you will know what I mean. For those who don't, the most compelling frontman of my generation fronting a brilliant band. You missed it? your loss!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flowerpot from Excellent night at the Tramshed, Cardiff We'd always wanted to see PIL and finally we had a chance. We were not disappointed. A great mixture of old and new tracks, it was everything we thought it would be and more. Would we go again? Of course we would. The venue at the Tramshed in Cardiff was new to us. were pleasantly surprised. The security staff were great and chatted to the folks in the queue. Bags were searched but you weren't made to feel like a criminal as can happen at some of the larger venues. (I'm diabetic so have sharps, needles and hypodermic in my bag) We both have arthritis, well we are getting on a bit, so I was worried about having to stand for a length of time but there is a balconied area up stairs so we picked our spot at the railing so we could lean. An excellent view.

Rated 4 out of 5 by blomeister1 from Quality event, amazing performance! I don't normally purchase tickets for larger events as I prefer more intimate gigs with less than 300 people, but I have to say this was one of the best 'big' live perfomances I've been to. The sound was excellent and PIL were on top form. I turned up a little late which meant without pushing to the front I was in the rear part of the crowd but that didn't prevent the evening from being thoroughly enjoyable (plus I was nearer the bar!)
