What people are saying about Rend Collective

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rend Cillective Went with my boyfriend and a friend. It was sooo good. It was an electrified atmosphere full of Christians praising and worshipping God. We do love Rend collective. We did the Irish jigg too..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An experience never to be missed. The Rend Collective were inspirational, uplifting and amazing all round. Urban Rescue, the fairly new support act were just as good. Christian music at its very best. Anyone who was at the O2 Academy in Sheffield 13/05 who was in the same room could not fail to be moved by what was an amazing night of music and worship.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from AMAZING Band, GREAT Staff...Tosh Venue! Can't fault Rend Collective, even one small iota, as they were amazing with their worship, music, humour and humility in giving JC ALL the Glory! And the venue staff were all so friendly and welcoming. But, the venue was abolute rubbish, as it had definitely over-subscribed the tickets, making the venue stifling, awful to have any view in and packed well beyond what was acceptable for an enjoyable experience! Not to mention the toilets were rank and the massive queues outside a bit weird, considering I've seen far bigger bands with little to no queues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent band - let down by a very tired venue Let me be clear, both bands who played were excellent and the music side of the event was amazing. There was creative use of lighting and projection of the song lyrics that made it really easy to get into the concert and the worship. However, the venue itself was an entirely different matter. To be fair this was a last minute venue change as building work at the original venue had not finished. Firstly they were simply not setup to get a large number of people into the venue quickly. There appeared to be only one entrance at which metal detectors had been installed so everyone one had to go in one at a time. Result, spend well over an hour in a VERY long queue shuffling to get in. When we finally got into the venue the warm up act were well into their set. When we did get into the venue it was over crowded so we were constantly betting pushed and shoved around and had a very limited view of the stage. All the stairs into the lower area were crammed with people. To my mind it looked unsafe as, if something had happened there was no way the lower "mosh pit" area could have been cleared quickly and safely. The stair ways were impassable which left only two small fire exits to either side of the stage to get all people out of. Great bands, great concert let down by a degree of greed in trying to cram too many people into an old venue. Was it worth what we paid for it - no not really.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent performances but terrible venue Rend Collective are always fantastic and last night was no exception. They always bring so much energy and joy. Their music is fantastic and the lyrics are beautiful, succeeding in bringing the glory to God. The support act Urban Rescue were new to me but I will be buying their CD. I loved what I heard. The venue, The Coronet, was badly organised and run down. I have never seen such a long queue in my life. It was ridiculous. The door staff were so slow at getting everyone in that 500 people were still waiting when the main act were due on stage. We arrived very early but only caught the end of the support. The venue had to be changed at short notice but The Coronet was really not up to the job
