More Information about The Jungle Book

BY RUDYARD KIPLING The Jungle Book is the much-loved story of Mowgli the boy raised by wolves, that takes an unexpected turn when the tiger Shere Khan vows to hunt him down because he is human. Mowgli's family decide it would be better for him to go back to the nearest village and he sets off with panther Bagheera. Along the way he comes across the bear Baloo who teaches him what family means. Using traditional Indian music, puppets and a lot of fun, this family-friendly treat of a show is perfect for kids both little and big. (3+) Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes (Including 1 interval) Location: Manchester Open Air Theatre, Chorlton Park, Nell Ln, Chorlton, M21 7UD
