Rated 5 out of 5 by sacville from Wonderful One of the best gigs I have seen, its a shame that I had to email the venue to inform them that the show was not on their website! PATHETIC!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jack505 from Top evening of Scottish folk-jazz and traditional Indian music This was my first gig in Manchester since moving there the previous week and the event fully lived up to what I'd heard about the city's music scene. Yorkston, Thorne and Khan played more than an hour and a half of eclectic music to a decent-sized Deaf Institute crowd. The set-list wasn't packed, as each track was over ten minutes (a few of them up to fifteen minutes) long but the music was so good that I wasn't even aware of the time between the songs! One of the items was a James Yorkston spoken word piece, recalling his stay in a Leeds hotel the previous evening, that included late-night piano jamming, breaking a window and a bird flying in.
