Friday, July 26th, 2024 Ageas Cooljazz has 4 Concerts per Night With doors opening at 7pm, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM start at 8pm, at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater, followed by the First Concert on the Ageas Stage, followed by the Headliner Concert on the same stage. After the end of the Headliner Concert, the Late Nights begin at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater. Confirm all the festival schedules at ageascooljazz.pt On the July 26th, the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais, receives the worlwide star, Diana Krall. The Canadian artist makes it presence known in the festival, that celebrates his 20 years anniversary, since its first edition. Albums like “All of You” (1996), “When I Look in Your Eyes” (1999), “The Look of Love” (2001), “The Girl in the Other Room” (2004), and “Quiet Nights” (2009), until the latest “Turn Up the Quiet” (2017) and “This Dream of You” (2020) helped Diana Krall building a career, as an absolute queen of worldwide jazz. Singer, pianist, and producer, the Canadian artist introduce herself to the world with your unique voice and a musical approach that set her apart from all other musicians. By building a career of absolute consistency, Diana Jean Krall achieved an unrivalled status, being awarded academic titles as well as being recurrently invited to make “cameos” in the cinema. The Ageas Cooljazz festival is part Diana Krall´s history, in Portugal and in the 20º anniversary it a major reason to receive the artist, at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais, for a magical night. Since the age of 10 that Manuel Oliveira studied music and particularly the piano. His dedication to his chosen instrument began at the Musicentro in Lisbon, where he is currently a piano teacher, and he studied at Escola Superior de Música. He is currently part of several projects by national artists, where he records in studio and performs live. After having accepted the challenge of performing with his trio at the festival in 2023, on the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM stage, it's now his turn to take the main stage and present the best of Portuguese jazz. Saxophonist and singer Eunice Barbosa is one of the emerging artists in the jazz Portuguese scene. She began her musical career in a philharmonic band, studied classical music at the D. Dinis Conservatory of Music and began his studies in the area of ??jazz at the Escola de Jazz Luiz Villas-Boas, and then went to the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa were graduated in jazz. Currently has her original music project as the main focus of her career, with which she recently released the first EP "Sore". On July 26th, Eunice will perform on the Cascas Jazz Sessions stage.
