Friday, July 19th, 2024 Late Nights –00h00 Confirm the festival schedules at ageascooljazz.pt DINO D’SANTIAGO makes his debut at Ageas Cooljazz on July 19th at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo for a night dedicated to the celebration of Portuguese music. The artist from Quarteira is preparing a new concert to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ageas Cooljazz. Dino D’Santiago is now a central figure in Portuguese music. He blends Cape Verdean tradition with the contemporary weight of global electronics. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (Boston), the Portuguese artist made her debut in 2018, releasing five albums and an EP in the same year. In 2019, she joined Jacob Collier on the DJESSE World Tour (2019) as part of the band. In 2020, "ITSAME, MARO!" was born, a project dedicated to promoting collaborations between artists remotely. MARO won the Festival da Canção and represented Portugal at Eurovision (2022) with the song "saudade, saudade." In the same year, she released the album "can you see me?" (2022), where she explores genres like pop, trap, world, and folk. In "hortelã" (April 2023), MARO presents an intimate version with an acoustic folk presence. PROGRESSIVU DJ SET is known for bringing the hottest rhythms of afrobeat mixed with electronic remixes to any dance floor. On July 19th, they will perform at Late Nights at Parque Marechal Carmona in Cascais. PROGRESSIVU 20 years Ageas Cooljazz.
