Renowned for co-producing hit singles such as "Just Dance", "Poker Face", "LoveGame", "Bad Romance", "Alejandro" and "Judas", he is attributed by some as the key to Lady Gaga's success. He has worked with Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias and One Direction producing songs such as "On the Floor", "Papi","I Like It" and "Save You Tonight", from the album "Up All Night". RedOne has established his own record label named 2101 Records as a joint venture with Universal International Music, an administrative unit of Universal Music Group. He has been nominated for six Grammy awards, winning two. In 2009, he was the number one producer on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, ranking number three as songwriter. RedOne penned many of the songs sung by Alex Sparrow, who represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2011 and eventually recruited the singer to his record label. He is producing the Cher and Lady Gaga duet, "The Greatest Thing". Scheduled to be released at Christmas 2011, the single will appear on Cher's twenty-sixth studio album. He is also working on the debut albums for Porcelain Black and Ash Stymest.
