Goosebumps Kids

WHAT IS IT?
Ghouls, ghosts and monsters - watch out! The kids are feeling fearless and want to see who's the real scaredy-cat. Bring Mum and Dad, just in case, as this immersive promenade show might have some twists and turns... And you wouldn't want to get Goosebumped. The show will combine sharp storytelling with an array of unforgettable effects, including artwork from the original book jacket illustrator Tim Jacobus as well as puppets and animatronics.

ARE THERE SEATS?
No. You will be moving around and discovering the story.

IS IT SCARY?
It wouldn't be Goosebumps without a little bit of fear. The show is fun, but does involve some jumps and surprises, as well as moving through dark and strange spaces. There are two versions: Goosebumps The Show for ages 12+ and Goosebumps Kids for 5 - 11 year olds.

WHAT BOOKS ARE IN THE SHOW?
The show will include little snippets from all of your favourite stories, but predominantly you can expect: Say Cheese, And Die!, The Blob That Ate Everyone, The Haunted Mask, Stay Out Of The Basement, One Day In Horrorland and Night Of The Living Dummy

WHAT AGE RANGE IS IT FOR?
Goosebumps Kids is suitable for ages 5 - 11 (and your parents if you want to bring them!) These ages are a guideline only so please use your own discretion when booking. Running time is 50 minutes.

THEATRE-GOERS 'IN FOR A SCARE' AS ONE-TIME-ONLY IMMERSIVE GOOSEBUMPS COMES TO LONDON

Book your tickets here

Next spring award-winning arts venue The Vaults will host the world theatre premiere of Goosebumps in a strictly limited run, exclusive to London. Working closely with publisher Scholastic, The Vaults have been granted permission to create an immersive world based on the phenomenally popular book series, for one run only from 6th April - 4th September 2016. This is the first time the books have been adapted for the stage.

The interactive show will be promenade style, as audience members wind their way through the abandoned railway tunnels of The Vaults and through a series of spine-tingling scenes inspired by some of Stine's most iconic creations, including Stay Out Of The Basement, One Day In Horrorland, Night Of The Living Dummy and Say Cheese, And Die!

Goosebumps will combine sharp storytelling from immersive stalwart Tom Salamon (ACCOMPLICE) with an array of unforgettable effects, including artwork from the original book jacket illustrator Tim Jacobus, design by Samuel Wyer (ALICE'S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND), sound design from Daffyd Gough (THE GENERATION OF Z) as well as puppets and animatronics. Cult-favourite 1990s band The Tiger Lillies (SHOCKHEADED PETER) have also been brought onboard to provide an original score.

The production is aimed at adults, with a children's version of the show (Goosebumps KIDS) opening in May to run on weekends and holidays (14th May - 4th September).
