Kew Gardens Tickets

Our Gardens are open. Come and enjoy 330 acres of green space and wonderful horticulture.

You'll need to book a time slot before you come, to help us stagger entry flow and reduce queues and help keep everyone safe. Only book as many as you need, and don't forget to cancel if you can no longer make it so others can visit.

Our toilets, shops and limited pop-up outdoor food and drink facilities are open, but please check which buildings and attractions are closed before you come.

Please check the latest guidance on visiting the Gardens before your visit.

We care for some of the world's rarest plant species. To protect our plants (and our visitors) we have rules around what you can and can't do in the Gardens. Please make sure you read our do's and dont's before you visit.

Please follow government advice. If you or your guest has symptoms of COVID-19 you must not visit the Gardens

To help plan your time slot:

  • You will have 45 minutes from your chosen time slot to enter Kew Gardens; once you're inside, stay as long as you like.
  • Please do not arrive before the time on your ticket.
  • Members will need to show their ID and membership card, or an email with their membership number on entry.
  • Heath care workers will need to show their Blue Light Card or other ID on entry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful trees and flowers!! But, hygiene was a big no-no. I went to see the cherry blossoms on the Saturday of the Easter weekend and had a great time viewing the trees and the plants, having a picnic and walking around with my friend. However, when I queued outside the ladies' portaloo near The Food Village, the stench from one of the cubicles which was blocked with toilet paper was overwhelming and was attracting a swarm of flies. Only one of the four cubicles was in use but it had ran out of toilet paper and the floor was flooded with water. I thought, can they not afford to monitor the toilets regularly? I'll keep in mind to warn about this to others who are planning a visit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting day out Went for a visit to Kew Gardens on very cold and blustery day. Several of food outlets closed. Quite expensive day out. All food outlets that were open were expensive and had limited and not brilliant choices! Glasshouses good but due to poor weather the whole place felt bleak and cold. Tree top walk closed understandably due to high winds. Would choose to go back on a day when weather better and would take own food and drink!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Expetiwnce The ‘orchid’ exhibition was truly remarkable... big drawback to Kew is lack of direction markers & you can find yourself lost in the grounds... Would have been better if the ‘colombian’ theme had carried on into the outside areas with more Latin themed outlets/market/shops...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow - it blew my my mind and im not into Horticolture I went with my partner who's love is Orchids amongst other plants. Six hours we were there and we managed to see every form of plant life one could ever imagine. Each individual plant identified and described and the region/country where it was from. The enclosed glass houses had everything - even plants from the Jurrasic period.
