What people are saying about Public Service Broadcasting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PSB @ wakey market Not the venue I ever expected in Wakefield, but a great experience. PSB were superb, along with mayshe mayshe, a really great night . Great sound and visuals. Hopefully the start if more bands coming to wakefield. The whole moon festival worked to interest and inspire loads of people . And it's not in Leeds !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once in a lifetime gig- PSB @ Wakefield Not many bands travel to Wakefield these days with the closure of Unity works. Long division and warehouse 23 provide some relief to the gig thirsty but the opportunity to see the magnificent PSB in a local venue as the culmination of the festival of the moon was too good to miss- and they did not disappoint. In the new market hall building you were treated to a lighted moon replica to set the atmosphere. As if playing the entire Race for space album was not enough, we were also treated to a number of every valley tracks and selected others like spitfire and Everest - a treat for old and new fans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great show in a wonderfully atmospheric castle. YES! We enjoyed a superb outdoor show care of the very fine and excellent Public Service Broadcasting, in the atmospheric surroundings of Caerphilly Castle on Saturday night. A huge welsh choir brought the house down to bring the proceedings to a close, and to send us merrily on our way beneath a glowing dusky sky. Truly magical stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was looking forward to this show and was not disappointed. My son introduced me to this band via their first two vinyl releases and I found their music intriguing, interesting and hugely enjoyable. Their innovative approach using sound recordings from the British Film Institute is very unusual and compelling. The age range of the audience was amazing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm up was unfortunate, let down by bad technology. PSB brilliant but overpasses. Poor accoustics. Well policed and easy bar access. Good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! First time seeing PSB live and first gig I have seen at the Dreamland Hall By The Sea and I hope that it is not the last on both accounts. What a show they put on. Full of great musicianship and stunning effects that really bring the music to life. Great venue and atmosphere too.
