What people are saying about Tom Robinson Band

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gig, like going back in time Took my daughter to see the 40th Anniversary 2–4-6-8 motorway gig, having seen TRB all though years ago, first time around was an amazing night out. Lots of talent, great music and a fab atmosphere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Dated At All Tom and his band played the whole of 'Power in the Darkness'; an album that's barely dated at all - OK some reference points have moved by the themes are the same - in an exhilarating evening that ticked every box. I was fortunate enough to see the original TRB 'Rising Free' back then and it's good to see everything was as I remember it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliantly delivered concert Great gig last night at Nells, London. Emotive, powerful, topically relevent and extremely well delivered by the whole band. Lyrically stood the test of time with modern up-to-date revisions. You can't help but 'sing your head off' #TRB

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best gig I've been to in ages. This was a splendid gig with Tom and the band on top form; plenty of energy with the whole audience drawn into the great vibe of the evening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic gig. Still very relevant. Being an old punk it's always good to be reminiscent and listen again to the misic of your youth. Tonight we were treated to that and also new material by both artists. The passion they had in the 70s was clearly still there, singing songs with lyrics outlining all that is wrong with the world today in true punk tradition. I Left the gig with a smile on my face but also a a lot of food for thought. The Brudenell Social Club is a fantastic small, independent venue and a refreshing contrast to the massive corporate 02 arenas. Long may places like this continue to put on great music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you get the chance, go! Tom Robinson leads his first rate band through a set of songs that leave an energised and appreciative crowd from sixteen to sixty plus not just singing "Glad to be gay" but thinking "Glad, Mr Robinson came our way". If you get the chance, go!
