Surrealism: The Power of Transition
When you're trying to create surrealism and/or magical things, it's important to stay grounded in the scene. In this workshop you use transitions to create magical, realistic and surreal effects, so that the impro can remain grounded and focused on the relationship and the characters. With this we can build a world, change perspective, and turn one of the most mechanical aspects of impro into gold.
WORKSHOP - Theatre
Language: Portuguese and English (with translator present)
Levels: IN + AV/PF
IN - IMPRO BEGINNER: People who already have some experience with Impro courses and/or performances.
AV/PF - ADVANCED/PROFESSIONAL IN IMPRO: People with a few years' experience and/or a career in Impro.
Day/Time: 26/07 (Friday) from 09:00 to 12:00

About Shawn Fisher:
Shawn Fisher, has been improvising for over a decade. He co-founded the International Improv Community in Vienna (IICV), where he has been leading open sessions, coaching teams and teaching improvisation for 5 years. He regularly directs, acts in or hosts the Vienna Maestro show. He has been working with his own troupe called Rainbows Last Wish, experimenting with group mind and magical realism in storytelling.
