What people are saying about Absolute Bowie
Rated 3 out of 5 by Daveb1977 from David and Chris at Absolute Bowie, The Garage, Highbury, Jan 2016 Overall mixed - good song choice and well played, great participation and sound quality. But some issues with the timings and venue. There was a long intermission almost half an hour and I had to leave at 10:30 to get last train I am sad I couldn't see the brunt of the second set. Also the aisles were blocked a fire risk and had to struggle to get to the gents toilets. Selection of beers was limited too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MLM from The venue was far too uncomfortably overcrowded for any enjoyment to happen We had our tickets for this event many weeks ago as we were celebrating a friends birthday. Unfortunately poor David Bowie passed away the week before this event happened and this meant that the tickets Sold Out. It seems that the venue sell far too many tickets than they should and it was so rammed you could not move yet alone dance. It took the joy out of the entire evening and we left early. This was a shame as this had the potential to be a really fun night. Absolute Bowie themselves were quite talented but it was difficult to watch someone impersonate the man himself. But good luck to them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by I love to Boogie from WOW, even David Bowie would enjoy this show! Out of this world, a genuine soundalike, and every effort made to lookalike with five changes of costume. The music was excellent - even the most devoted Bowie fan will not be disappointed. Every song was a delight to hear, sing and dance along to. Starman, Ziggy, Jean Genie, Heroes, Fashion, Life on Mars, hit after superb hit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by philcharters from ABSOLUTE BOWIE? ABSOLUTELY! I've been a Bowie freak since Boys Keep Swinging and took a friend who wasn't too bothered about him. Since the show she's bought 5 Bowie albums and is lecturing me on the merits of Aladdin Sane over Hunky Dory. The best tribute band out there. Musically great and proper fans. Go and see them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JazzyJazz2971 from Amazing! The closest thing to Bowie that anyone could get. Really good quality of the music. Only disappointing thing was all of the tall people standing in front of me! Also, the microphone could have been louder as the music overpowered it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jillian from An experience. I went with my partner and we enjoyed the 1St act but Absolute Bowie didn't seem to continue his character through to the 2nd act. He also stretched out the gaps between the songs in the 2nd act and it became a bit boring.
