Little Comets Tickets
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pete80 from Excellent live band, even if you can't understand half of what they are saying Ok so we missed the support act and rocked up as the band were starting. The wedgewood rooms is a funny venue, a good eclectic mix of people, still as sticky a floor as ever and the bar is in the far corner so you have to battle through everyone waiting for the band to get a drink. Loos are pretty manky as you would expect for a venue like this. Also no obvious bins so you end up throwing cups etc on the floor. Anyway back to the performance. Little Comets are genuinely talented musicians with catchy riffs, good vocals and with a distinct sound. The only issue I have is I can't understand half of what they are saying which detracts from the overall expereience for me. A couple of big crowd pleasers - one night in October and dancing song. I was taken along by someone else but the songs are catchy and A nice little touch was the band coming out after and manning the merch booth and saying thanks to the fans for coming. I'd definitely go to see them again and I hope they break it this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brendan from One of the best weekends ever This event was the final gig of a weekend I spent up in Brighton. This band, venue and area is incredible. The atmosphere was so chilled out and mellow and everyone was so friendly and ready to have a good time. The band performed flawlessly but u would expect nothing else of Little Comets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by anon8484 from Mediocre The fanbase of the band were really young (like 12/13 yo) and obnoxious, so kept shoving their way to the front, and the band were disorganised - half an hour late plus nobody was selling merch at the merch stand until after the concert. However, the music was great and the bands (inc. the supporting group, Hippo Campus) were around to chat afterwards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NH from Cracking night out in a great little venue Cracking night out in an intimate venue. Great support from Hippocampus an american band with some quality songs. Then Little Comets played an accomplished set which made you really warm to them both as a band and as individuals Recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by CraigI from A great start to 2016! A great double bill mixing the experience of the Little Comets as headliners with the freshness of Hippocampus. The American Hippocampus had attracted a knowledgeable loyal crowd early on a cold Leeds night with sounds echoing Vampire Weekened and Two Door Cinema Club. They seemed genuinely surprised at the warm welcome with the crowd singing with them early. Little Comets clearly were keen to be back touring on what is nearly a fully sold out tour at some of the popular independent uk venues. A young Leeds crowd clearly enjoyed themselves joining in with their favourite tunes.
