Positivus Festival Tickets
Each year this venue plays host to the biggest music festival in Latvia called Positivus Festival. The town of Salacgriva is in the northern region of Latvia. The festival site is located 120km from the Riga Int. Airport and 110km from Riga city centre.
The drive from Riga usually takes less than 2 hours. The drive from Liepaja and Ventspils takes roughly 5 hours. The drive from Aizkraukle, Jekabpils and Daugavpils lasts around 3 - 4,5 hours. The drive from Tallinn, Estonia takes round 3 hours. The drive from Vilnius, Lithuania takes round 5 hours.
The bus stop in Salacgriva is called "Salacgrivas autoosta" and it's located next to the petrol station and the 24 hour shop.

Positivus also took home the `Best European Festival' award from the British ,Festival Guide" this year, beating the tremendously popular Roskilde, Roch Werchter and Spain's Benicassim in heavy competition. The student festival guide described the festival as possessing "a certain simple enchantment that is unmatched by any other event". The guide also points out that the festival is "fantastically affordable" and full of Latvian delights. The festival was also included in "Filter Magazine's" `Top 5 Most Anticipated (International) Summer Festival' countdown in 2011, with the follow-up resolution to visit and cover the live events from the festival this summer.
