Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hyde Park Shakes it Off in Style with pop icon Taylor Swift It’s 8:30pm on a Saturday evening. While many people stay at home and away from the scorching heat of the evening, 65,000 screaming fans gather in the heart of London to join Taylor Swift for the hottest party of the year, as the 7 time Grammy award winner graces the stage to perform the third of five sold out UK shows of her 1989 world tour. With special guests and surprise songs, it’s a night to remember. From excited pre-teens gazing in awe, to teenage girls gathered from far and wide crying tears of pure joy, to families having the time of their lives, it’s easy to see why Taylor Swift was named one of the most influential women in the world in 2015. It doesn’t matter who you are, everyone seems to loves the country, gone pop sensation that is Miss Swift. You can’t look around without catching a glimpse of homemade shirts, fancy costumes and light up posters; Swift’s fans truly go all out like no other, and so it goes, there never is a concert quite like a Taylor Swift concert. The set itself stays true to the album in which the tour follows, with all but one of the 16 songs from ‘1989’ present on the set list. As well as this, Swift does not stray too far away from her past; performing the iconic number one hit singles that we all know and love from previous work. Songs such as ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, leave the crowd jumping up and down, singing every word. Certain songs undergo a new remix, such as a mash up of crowd pleaser ‘Wildest Dreams’, with the less well-known ‘Enchanted’, that Swift wrote as a daydreaming teenager many years ago. Despite the initial surprise of this mash-up, Swift pulls it off exceptionally in a way that no other could, showing how well she understands what the audience will relish and remember. It's hard to remember the once broken hearted, country singer which many of us knew. In 2015, Swift’s happiness seems contagious, even during the more emotionally driven, heart-felt songs throughout the 2-hour long set. It’s hard to see the smile slip off of her face at any point, and the audience feels this joy too. The stage layout is undoubtedly very cleverly thought out and well executed, with a catwalk and b-stage that move forward and lift into the air, ensuring no matter what section of the crowd you are in, you all get to experience the concert from up-close at some point throughout the night. But it’s not just the fancy lights, sparkly costumes and catchy songs that draw the crowd in. Swift’s speeches, speaking words of wisdom, such as how ‘pain makes you stronger’ and ‘you are not the opinion of someone who doesn’t know you,’ leave nearly all 65,000 people teary eyed. The night ends with pop-anthem ‘Shake It Off’ as Swift thanks the crowd, dancers and band, and a park full of Brits pull out their best dance moves and shake the night away in cohesion. Swift’s ability to appeal to a wide audience, her astonishing stage presence and her award winning song writing ability, all contribute to a fulfilling, unforgettable concert. My only criticism – I wish I were lucky enough to be able to see it all over again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Re light my fire? Managed to buy some very sought after Take That tickets for the O2 in June through See Tickets. Unfortunately the only tickets that were available were up in the rafters-literally!! Though looking around the venue there were lots of empty seats.....much lower down!! The gig was good, a bit lack lustre-something was definitely missing-Gary! Not that I could see who was on stage. You'd need a telescope to actually see anything from our seats. Love the O2-hated our seats and God forbid you get vertigo as you'd be weak at the knees.lol

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved concert after seats were changed Concert amazing after we managed to see it. I purchased tickets which were up in the sticks, but nowhere did it state they would be limited view. I was very upset to find we would have a massive light restricting our view. Luckily, one of the attendents advised myself and my mates to go to customer services. The team at the o2 relocated us, but there were no more seats available. So we ended up standing, this was great for use because we were young, but i would hate to think what would have happened if someone older or who could not stand for long periods of time ended up in the same situation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best TT concert I've seen The boys tried to put on a Stadium tour in an arena, which kind of worked and kind of didn't. I don't believe it was entirely worth the ticket price compared to the Stadium tours and the show this time was more about showmanship and less about the singing and the group providing the entertainment. May not go to another one.
