Booba

Elie Yaffa (born December 9, 1976) better known under his stage name Booba, is a French rapper from Paris. He is half Senegalese from his father's side and half French of Moroccan origin from his mother's side. He started music career with Ali as rap duo Lunatic. He has sold over a million albums. He is the first artist to hold the record of legal downloads in France. He is one of the French rappers who has the most success. Booba is the most popular rapper in France, but also one of the most controversial. He created his own brand of clothing, Unkut, which has a great success. Booba has been engaged in feuds with Sinik, Rohff, Mc Jean Gab'1 and Alpha 5.20.
