Goosebumps The Show

THEATRE-GOERS 'IN FOR A SCARE' AS ONE-TIME-ONLY IMMERSIVE GOOSEBUMPS COMES TO LONDON

Book your tickets here

Next spring award-winning arts venue The Vaults will host the world theatre premiere of Goosebumps in a strictly limited run, exclusive to London. Working closely with publisher Scholastic, The Vaults have been granted permission to create an immersive world based on the phenomenally popular book series, for one run only from 6th April - 4th September 2016. This is the first time the books have been adapted for the stage.

The interactive show will be promenade style, as audience members wind their way through the abandoned railway tunnels of The Vaults and through a series of spine-tingling scenes inspired by some of Stine's most iconic creations, including Stay Out Of The Basement, One Day In Horrorland, Night Of The Living Dummy and Say Cheese, And Die!

Goosebumps will combine sharp storytelling from immersive stalwart Tom Salamon (ACCOMPLICE) with an array of unforgettable effects, including artwork from the original book jacket illustrator Tim Jacobus, design by Samuel Wyer (ALICE'S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND), sound design from Daffyd Gough (THE GENERATION OF Z) as well as puppets and animatronics. Cult-favourite 1990s band The Tiger Lillies (SHOCKHEADED PETER) have also been brought onboard to provide an original score.

The production is aimed at adults, with a children's version of the show (Goosebumps KIDS) opening in May to run on weekends and holidays (14th May - 4th September).

Melody Gardot

Melody Gardot; the intensely creative singer and songwriter returns with her brand new Universal album Currency Of Man; a record that transcends musical distinctions of jazz, blues and R&B to offer a stirring social and musical statement.

She has mastered the art of capturing mood and emotion in her music, prompting The Times to say 'Every decade or so an artist comes along who redefines the art of the possible'. '

When you rouse yourself from Gardot's dream, it can be hard to recall any individual song, but the reverie is beautiful.' (**** The Telegraph)

Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games showcases exciting and ground-breaking new technology, world champion acrobats and the greatest team of Irish Dancers the world has seen.

The cast at the Playhouse Theatre will be led by James Keegan and Morgan Comer, who have both won every major title in competitive Irish Dance. They were hand-picked and trained by Flatley himself and have starred in the West End and UK touring shows of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games. Michael Flatley, who has recently retired from UK performances, is excited to hand over the reins to such talented performers. The score is composed by Gerard Fahy.

Flatley said, "I'm delighted that London has once again welcomed us so warmly, and to be able to extend the show's run by moving to the very beautiful Playhouse Theatre makes me feel immensely proud of what we've achieved. I am delighted for my dancers that they can continue to perform in this great city."
